Why don't they show the planes crashing into the world trade towers anymore?

Because it upsets people?  Gives aid and comfort to the enemy?
Is this just another form of government censorship?  What good are pictures if you can't show them?  How believable would newspapers be without pictures?

It wouldn't surprise me knowing some of these conspiracy theorists that deny the holocaust...they will eventual start putting forward the idea it didn't happen!!
I suppose you realize that it wasn't a dozen fanatical Saudi Islamists that flew those plane...they were actually hijacked by twelve Quran burning southern baptists!!..and that the US military didn't kill Bin Ladin...he actually choked on a lamb kebab!

It causes great depression in people if they are shown a lot on the news.  People will watch it over and over.  I think it is a good thing they don't show such things so often.  I don't think it is a bad form of censorship.  With everything we must use some levels of common sense.

The same reason they quit showing Kennedy getting shot,..or Tornado's..or Hurricanes..or mud slides..
The worst would be continually hearing how your child was murdered..

Get a Bloody DVR,(tivo/directv) ......then knock yourself out watching it..
