How would a structured settlement affect my Social Security Disabilty if I am under 65.?

Do they tell you how you have to spend the money?  Is their only a certain amount you can get if you get a structured settlement as a result of a terrible work accident?

Any income you get does not affect SSDI regardless of your age. If you got any public benefits before SSDI, those will be taken out of your settlement before you get it, but it does not affect SSDI since that is based solely on your disability.

this money is compensation from your injury so it is not currently earned by working... just receive your compensation ... invest some in metals since the dollar is fiat and our gvt is corrupt.

It won't.  You deserve the money from the accident, and you deserve the SS you were promised.  You get both.  Happily ever after and such.
