Glasses have worked well for me.  I tried contacts but I would have had to get toric (weighted) lenses.  They would be clear and then be blurry if I blinked or moved my head.  I didn't like it.  All in all, glasses are probably the more cost efficient solution.  I had my glasses for about 8 years before I needed to change them, and it was only about $250 for another pair.  Lasik might be nice, but I just don't see the cost-effectiveness of it.

Well i wear glasses and contact lens.

Contacts are such a pain. And i dont really like wearing glasses, so im looking foward to lasik surgery...I think its your best bet.

Lasik surgery if you have the money and your eyes have stopped changing, but if you don't have the money, get contact lenses.  I use Acuvue Oasys and I keep them in for weeks at a time, I never notice them (unless I rub my eyes). They say you can keep them in for 5 days, but I'm fine with them in for longer.

Lasik gets the job done and you go on your merry way until old age starts to change you vision. No more cost incurred for glasses or contacts.  If your vision is REALLY bad it would be a wonderful thing to be able to see in an emergency in an unfamiliar location (hotel fire etc) when you may not be able to find your glasses or have no time for contacts.

Soft lens - lets your eye breath, but still shouldn't stay in all the time. Gives you better vision than glasses because you are seeing from your eye and not seeing only what is cleared through the lens of your glasses.

Glasses are better than nothing and should be owned even if you are going to depend on contact lenses.
