How much is the child tax credit going to be this tax season?

I've heard that they aren't doing it anymore. This is my first time to be eligible for it so i was just wondering how much it is if we still get it.

You head wrong. The CTC reduces your tax by up to $1,000. If your tax is less than your total CTC, you may be able to claim the balance using the Additional Child Tax Credit, depending upon your income.
