One never knows but I would be surprised if they did. It's not something that's been present in the tax code throughout history and the housing market is starting to level off, making it less of a policy issue.

there doesn't seem to be any interest in extending it at this point but who knows what they will come up with after being in their home states for a couple months listening to complaints from the constituents
