Do the Italians hate the British?  I felt a coldness when I was in Italy, a barrier. I went late one night in a coffee bar and went to the loo, as I came back they were locking up. I asked for the exit and they pointed to a glass door which was locked, they laughed and pointed to another door which was locked, they laughed. By this time [I'm 70] I was panicking as I had to get back on time to a cruise ship. It took me ages before they finally let me out. They were cold and ridiculing. Does this stem from the war? Do the Italians hate the British?
