Do you think cosmetic surgery is unethical or immoral? Yes or no, and why?

No, I believe there is nothing wrong with cosmetic surgery. In my opinion, in this day and age, our society values appearances so much that it would be contradictory for cosmetic surgery to not be accepted. Cosmetic surgery is not so different from makeup; they both can dramatically alter one's appearance. If our current science and technology can support people's desire to look a certain way, why is that wrong?

Some people will argue it's unnatural, but I really don't see how that is relevant. Medicine is unnatural. Modern society is unnatural. We live in an artificial world.

Ahhhhh no way!
Cosmetic surgery is great if you can afford it.
There is nothing wrong with a lil nip and tuck when you need it as long as your an adult.
I think it is just superfluous when cosmetic surgery is perform on an adolescence.
Good Luck!

no not immoral if it is minor. It was really designed for people who had horrific birth deformities or from an almost tragic accident, not for lip enhancement, breast, nose, or the buttocks...
