If you want to play games on your Android Tablet, then I will recommend purchasing a tablet with a capacitive screen and a fast processor (at least 1GHz). The capacitive screen will give you the same feel like an Apple iTouch or iPad and the speed will be good enough for games.

Tablet war is making  the Android Tablet Cheaper day by day. you can easily buy one to play games, read e-books and can do more like internet through wifi, make videos, click pics and some Tablets allows to use it as a phone so you can make and receive calls.
