Why do my eyes sting and feel particularly tired after wearing eye makeup and my contacts?

I can't wear my eye make up and my contacts for more than 3 - 4 hours without them stinging along and I just want to wash all the make up off and take out my contacts? I have tried a million types of contacts and thrown away all make up and gotten new makeup but it keeps happening?

hmm, maybe you might be allergic to one of your products of eye makeup or your contacts. That's what happened to me, i was wearing some eye makeup and then my eyes started to sting and feel itchy, so i did a couple of tests ( i tried wearing specific products by themselves to see which one was annoying me.) Turned out that it was my mascara, cause when i wore it without any other makeup my eyes stung, but when i didn't have it on i was fine. I suggest you try this to find out what is bugging your eyes. Also, try wearing your contacts with no other makeup on, it may be your contacts.

maybe you have dry eyes and they get annoyed by all the stuff in the air, or you have very wet eyes and it makes your makeup run into your eyes (i have this problem anytime i blink with mascara on my eye starts burning) :/
