plastic surgery, good idea or bad idea? can anyone help?

i have always been teased about my body's size in a certain area. i am seriously considering plastic surgery. i have done some research and have spoken to a few doctors on the subject to educate myself on the matter a bit. i am wondering what others who have had plastic surgery think about it. what do you think about it? any and all help is greatly appreciated.

no don't get plastic surgery. you may think that it will fix the problem, but then a couple of weeks later you will see yourself in the same place you were before. you will see no difference. learn to be happy with your body
plus,  alot of times the surgery comes out wrong, or different than you wanted it.

My aunt had her breasts augmented and she seems happy with the results, however this is my aunt.

If you do get plastic surgery, make sure you're getting it for YOU and no one else-- if you get it for others, i can nearly guarantee you'll regret it. Please make sure you understand all the risks of plastic surgery, go to a great plastic surgeon and again, do it for YOU.

I see plastic surgery as body modification (as long as it's safe, sane and consensual) and if you want to modify your body, who am i to say it's bad? If it will make you feel better, if it will make you more confident, if it makes you feel more like you, go for it. Please, again i think this is really important, do it for YOU.

Do research, find a great surgeon, make sure you know (and understand) the consequences, make sure you're 100% committed to your decision and if all of that applies, i wish you the best of luck.
