How can you put on eye makeup without it smearing and comeing off later?

like, i make my eye makeup look perfect every morning!
then like in a couple hours, i walk past a mirror and it looks really bad!
i wear a little black eyeliner on the bottom, and it smears...really badly!
and i dont like..rubb my eyes or anything...
i need advise for it to stay on longer looking like how it did in the morning

Shelac - it's at Sephora - I used it on my wedding day - FLAWLESS!!

I know! The only real solution is going for the high-end stuff. There is a reason why it's that expensive! I really love MAC cosmetics.

Shelaq by Benefit. It's this little blue bottle that comes with a set of brushes and it just sets your make up so amazingly well. You know how people say, it would take a nuclear war to shift this stuff? Well, I don't think that the nuclear war would be able to shift it unless it had the special removing lotion (that comes with it)  x

Ditch the eye liner.
Try a little black eye shadow applied w/ a wet sponge. That may help. I have that problem every time I decide to wear eye liner... finally just quit... HATE the smudging!
