Would it be appropriate to wear cat eye makeup to this event?

I recently won a scholarship from UCLA and they are inviting me to go to the campus tomorrow for a so-called "casual" event at the campus. It's purpose is to meet all the other scholarship winners and interact with them and whatnot.

Would it be appropriate to wear brown (somewhat dark) eyeliner in a cat's eye makeup style?

just dont over do it! like dont make the actual cat eye hook things too long

I wouldn't. Keep it simple with make up and add a funky accessory.

Not if that is all you want them to remember about you.
Just dress as you normally would, maybe a step up in pretty color or feminine top.

ONLY if you have the matching cat ears to wear as well...and a set of whiskers. Also, University personnel are always impressed with cleanliness, so be certain to lick and clean yourself a good deal when they are looking. Follow those simple pieces of advice and you will do fine.
