Why is it the Obamamobile or Chevy Volt never even made the top 10 of green cars?

My guess would be too much govt. involvement nothing the government is ever involved in is successful its a shame after all the billions of taxpayers dollars thrown at it the critics say it is a flop.

It never made it, because the range of the thing on electric only is about 40 miles, and the fuel economy, when you realistically calculate the range of a full tank of gas and the 40 miles of electric, comes in under 50MPG, far lower than initially claimed, and too low compared to other hybrids or plain electrics already on the market. It unfortunately does neither electric or hybrid well, so it's a failure.

Cost should have nothing to do with it making top 10 or not, it's just a bad car. Even if they would have carbon-copied the prius, at least they would have had a car that people could afford, and one that is actually successful. Instead, we end up with a car that gets the mileage of an economical gas-only vehicle, at about 3 times the price.
