Difference between granulated onion and minced onion?
0
votes
Recipe calls for 1 1/2 tbps of granulated onion, I accidentally bought minced onion.......should I go back to store and get the granulated onion powder? Or is there any difference?
This is for my seasoning rub on my prime rib.
Thanks!!!

yes there is a difference. Granulated is finer than minced. Minced onion looks like flakes and granulated is finely ground. Go back to the store and get granulated --not minced or powder.
