Can I make beef and noodles the same way as Chicken and Dumplings?

I'm going to use Bisquick and left over prime rib...feel free to add comments or tricks, but no recipes....I have an idea but I'll take pointers!!
Oh, and I have store bought egg noodles or frozen dumplings...have never done bisqick before but willing to try. I'm waiting.......please and thank you...
