Did I get this rash from my cat?

Ok, so a few days ago we discovered this rash on my cat's abdomen. I took him to the vet, and she thought it was either some kind of chemical burn or a plant burn. So she gave me some aloe vera gel to put on the rash, an anti-inflammatory, and a course of antiboitics. Now when I picked my cat up  also a few days ago) my arm came in contact with the rash. I wiped off whatever the wet stuff was. But today I noticed that I have some bumps where I brushed the rash. They're really small, and itchy. I've been really careful not to scratch, though.
(it couldn't be poison ivy or anything because I'm immune)
